The new DL1050 and DL1050DE are the bikes that you need for wherever your journey takes you.

Now with multiple rider aids and new electronics:
Colour TFT display, up and down quickshifter, cruise control, Suzuki Drive Mode Selector, Hill Hold, Load and Slope dependent control system, 6 axis IMU (cornering ABS).

Both models are powered by the latest iteration of the renowned liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 90° V-Twin DOHC engine.  It's a perfect blend of character, power and reliability; it's even got a great soundtrack.

The standard DL1050 comes with fully adjustable KYB inverted forks at the front and pre-load adjustable KYB monoshock at the rear make for a smooth, agile and stable ride. Pair this with a dedicated chassis geometry and you are set for the long haul.

The V-Strom 1050DE is kitted with wire-spoked wheels featuring aluminium rims to better endure the potential pounding when exploring trails and other rough surfaces. The larger 21-inch front wheels makes for greater stability and better control on gravel and flat dirt. Dunlop TRAILMAX MIXTOUR tyres deliver the solid traction and performance you want when exploring varied terrain and trails.

In addition to the standard suspension the 1050DE suspension adopts a longer stroke, with 170mm of front and 169mm of rear travel. The suspension’s spring rate, valve, and piston settings are custom tuned for riding on unpaved surfaces.

The DE comes with other features to help you really explore the trails - adventure specific bars, a screen designed to maximise visibility on trails.
