Meet the staff

The showroom

180 square metres of showroom space with most of the range of new Suzukis, as well as up to 60 used bikes.

Allan Clark

Allan Clark

IT/Sales

Allan is committed to two wheels. First bicycles, now motorcycles. And keeping the Web site, Face-cloth, and newsletters up to date keeps him busy when not selling motorcycles. Was in to Italian metal before he joined us, so fits in just nicely with MV Agusta.

Roger Lindsay

Roger Lindsay

Senior sales/ director

Doesn’t think of himself as old, but we keep reminding him. Just so there’s no mistake he has joined the board of directors. Been with us longer than a long time.

David Taylor

David Taylor

Sales

A proper Fifer. A proper biker. Dave has been riding bikes all his life and comes to work most days on a motorised two wheeler.
The alternative transport is an American Police Car straight out of Starskey & Hutch. Has a knack for finding the right bike at the right price.

Aftersales

Completely computerised spares ordering and stock control, with dedicated staff to assist with servicing, repairs, spares and accessories. (And to make you a cup of coffee!)

Alan Lawrie

Alan Lawrie

Dealer principal/ director.

Another man from the original Waterend Road days. Been with us long enough. Manages the stores, plus most of the staff. Keeps the show on the road.

Susan Gordon

Susan Gordon

Aftersales

Service/ parts/ clothing and accessories. A total customer champion. Surprising, considering she prefers horses to people. Was away for a few years looking after cars, but we poached her back.

Leigh Walker

Leigh Walker

Aftersales

A proper ride to work motorcyclist. Even if it is only on an old banger of a ZX-6R. Leigh can be trusted to get the right part first time, every time.

Workshop

3 dedicated service/ repair bays, 1 fast fit bay, 1 MOT bay, 1 pdi bay; and 1st floor area for cleaning and storing bikes.

Leon Murphy

Leon Murphy

Workshops foreman

Workshops foreman, Race bike preparation, and TV celebrity. Putting the workshops under some proper organisation, Leon ensures a right first time philosphy is followed. Plays a mean bagpipe as well.

Allan Mackie

Allan Mackie

Workshops director

We’re still looking for something that Allan can not diagnose, or any mechanical or electrical problem he can not fix. Has grown to tolerate things Italian in his old age. Much to his own surprise let alone ours...

Kelly Carruthers

Kelly Carruthers

Mechanic

An old wolf in sheep’s clothing, you wouldn’t appreciate his years of experience with those youthful looks. Taking pride in the job makes the difference.

Jason Maxwell

Jason Maxwell

Apprentice mechanic

Jason served his apprenticeship with us and is now a fully qualified technician. A real asset to the workshop and the Christmas night out. The personification of a positive mental attitude wrapped up in a young Fifer.

Paul Bateman

Paul Bateman

Apprentice mechanic

Never underestimate the quiet man. Was picked from tens of applicants for our apprentice job. And very quickly showed his potential. Totally at ease wielding a spanner.

Cupar Suzuki

Cupar Motorcycles

Suzuki

Scotland's authorized Suzuki dealer.

Graeme Bruce

Graeme Bruce

Driver/ cleaner

Measuring 6ft 9in and with calves the size of basket balls you know that your bike is in safe hands when Graeme’s on the job. Genuine nice guy that takes pride in his work. Properly prepared bikes and delivered with a smile. What more could we ask for...

Fraser Robb

Fraser Robb

Warehouse manager

Cleaner, driver, janitor, joiner, plumber, sparky; you name it, Fraser does it. Un-crating and sorting out new bikes is his speciality though. Runs the best organised warehouse in Fife.

Cupar Suzuki

Cupar Motorcycles

Suzuki

Scotland's authorized Suzuki dealer.

Administration

Keeping the whole show running smoothly (and counting the pennies) on a network of computers from a dedicated sales as well as a separate accounts office.

Paul Weinberger

Paul Weinberger

Director

Director & Janitor. Chief daydreamer. Sells the odd bike, does the odd van run and generally pretends to be useful. Too old to rock-&-roll and too young to die. For the time being anyway.

Lorna Hughes

Lorna Hughes

Company secretary

Lorna is on first name terms with Fidel Castro. Been to Cuba umpteen times and several other exotic destinations too dangerous to mention. Knows how to barter for utilities and keep the show on the road.

Jo Rafferty

Jo Rafferty

Director/ Administrator.

Jo now flits between Cupar and Kirkcaldy, making sure your bike paperwork is sorted, bikes registered, warranties registered and generally stopping the whole show from imploding. Sometimes this involves the gentle reprimanding of some salesmen
