Meet the staff
180 square metres of showroom space with most of the range of new Suzukis, as well as up to 60 used bikes.
Gordon MoffatSales Director
Sales director for the group. Has more experience selling vehicles than the rest of the board of directors put together. Favourite bike: still the GSX1400. They don't make 'em like that anymore...
Still doesn't look a day over 26. Aged well, long time staff member, and makes the bike buying process totally painless. Taking pride in bike preparation is what makes the difference.
Scotland's top Nissan Leaf salesman. Sold one to himself before he quit the cars to come over to motorcycles. Knows how to look after you properly when buying a bike.
Completely computerised spares ordering and stock control, with dedicated staff to assist with servicing, repairs, spares and accessories. (And to make you a cup of coffee!)
Alan LawrieDealer principal/ director.
Sorts the aftersales out for his day job, then sorts out problem bikes and staff for good measure. Someone needs to do it of course. Alan is a career Cupar Motorcycle man.
Service/ parts/ clothing and accessories. A total customer champion. Surprising, considering she prefers horses to people. Was away for a few years looking after cars, but we poached her back.
A proper ride to work motorcyclist. Even if it is only on an old banger of a ZX-6R. Leigh can be trusted to get the right part first time, every time.
3 dedicated service/ repair bays, 1 fast fit bay, 1 MOT bay, 1 pdi bay; and 1st floor area for cleaning and storing bikes.
Workshops foreman, Race bike preparation, and TV celebrity. Putting the workshops under some proper organisation, Leon ensures a right first time philosphy is followed. Plays a mean bagpipe as well.
Pdi mechanic. Service mechanic. Recent emigre from the colonies, having worked in Australia as well as his native South Africa.
A can do kind of man and asset to team GB.
Newly qualified 2016.
A proper asset. Trained on Ducatis initially but switched seemlessly to our Japanese brands.
Takes quality seriously.
Graeme CowieDriver/ cleaner
A true gent. Former high flying city banker now switched to his dream job. Fastideous to a fault when he gets going with a polishing cloth.
Fraser RobbWarehouse manager
Cleaner, driver, janitor; you name it, Fraser does it. Un-crating and sorting out new bikes is his speciality though. Running a wee OCD competition with Graeme. We shall see.
Jason MaxwellApprentice mechanic
Another real asset. Always early to work. Always sporting a smile. Low maintenance kind of guy - just gets on with the job.
Keeping the whole show running smoothly (and counting the pennies) on a network of computers from a dedicated sales as well as a separate accounts office.
Director & Janitor. Chief day-dreamer. Sells the odd bike, does the odd van run and generally pretends to be useful. Too old to rock-&-roll and too young to die. For the time being anyway.
Lorna is on first name terms with Fidel Castro. Been to Cuba umpteen times and several other exotic destinations too dangerous to mention. Kens how to barter for utilities and keep the show on the road.
Jo RaffertyDirector/ Administrator.
Do not cross her lightly. Collects scalps from the sales staff just for fun, someone needs to of course, but she does tend to enjoy it a wee bit too much.
